Are you on track to graduate?
How many credits should I have?
- Minimum of 22 total credits (MAY NEED TO VERIFY EXACT NUMBER FOR PROMOTION)
o 4 credits in core English
o 4 credits in social studies, including:
- 4 credits in Global History
o 3 credits in math
o 3 credits in science
o 1 credits in Languages Other Than English (LOTE)
o 2 credits in physical education
o .5 credit in health education
o 1 credit in arts education, including visual arts, music, dance, and theater
o 3.5 credits in electives
(Reminder: These are the minimum, many students will have more than the listed amount if they have passed all of their classes each semester)
What exams should I have completed?
- Any math exam (Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra II/Trigonometry)
- Any social studies exam (Global History and Geography or U.S. History and Government)
- Any science exam (Living Environment, Chemistry, Earth Science, or Physics)
(Reminder: Students must achieve a score of 65 or higher on five exams to earn a Regents diploma.)
